Restoration of the House

In the years 1898 and 1900, the Church was under protection with a jerry-built roof appropriate to the original features of the building. Later in 1913-1930 as the roof collopsed, the building structure got into a worse condition. Around 1950s by the contributions of a Swiss and American associations, restoration works were started on 19th June,1951 by Descuffi the Archbishop of İzmir and it continued about for two years.
