Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul II wished to celebrate Holy Mass in various languages in the holy site of House of Mary along with Cardinals, bishops and approximately 2000 people in the afternoon of 30th November, 1979. Despite the incredible crowd Pope entered the House of Mary in silence and stayed there in prayer for almost 15 minutes. Then, he took his place at the altar where all participants prayed in silence and piety. Visitation lasted one and a half hour.
